About the Artist
Hey, it's Heather! My pronouns are she/her. I am a Chinese-Canadian creative who gravitates to art in so many ways. I love creating digitally and through felt and clay. When I'm not creating, I'm eating good food, cycling, playing cozy games, or hanging out with my husband and our 3 orange tabbies, Fish Cake, Moon Cake and Frog!
What does Wabi Sabi mean?
In traditional Japanese aesthetics, Wabi Sabi (侘寂) is driven by the concept of finding beauty in the imperfect. It means appreciating them in the time and space it exists. Therefore, I'm proud of all my works even if they are a lil bumpy sometimes.
I hope to share a piece of Wabi Sabi with you through my handmade creations.
